Hello there and welcome back to #thefree! The snaps below mark my two week #update and so far I am loving the #locjourney. I have not yet washed or professionally e-twisted my #combcoils. I have kept them moisturized with a daily spritz from a spray bottle of water, and kept them "somewhat" neat with light and quick re-twists every 2 to 3 days.
Here are some pictures from the days leading up to this update. In future, I will definitely be posting styles I try or come up with for each step of my "journey. Above are pig-tails with bangs, which has very quickly become my go to. #Locd bangs are not something I see very often, but they frame my face so nicely (that forehead tho, I may keep them.

Below are two braids leading back to the nape of my neck, with the ends tucked and pinned under each braid. This is reminiscent of a halo braid, a style I wore a lot as a loose natural. I left out a fringe and two tendrils on each side of face in front of my ears. In hindsight I wish I would have just wrapped and kept this style for a few days. I could have gotten more miles out of it.
The last row are just a close up of my tails again. As far as I can tell, I don't have any noticeable buds or knots yet. My #coils are still soft, springy, and low-density.
Maybe yours look like this, or perhaps you need a little #motivation to start your own journey. Either way, come back soon for more updates and enjoy and #stayfree
